Chiltern Support & Housing

Our vision is to be the best provider of supported services for adults at risk fostering independence for individuals in the community.  We operate around the core values of independence, choice, individualisation and inclusion.   This unique bespoke person centred support and care service is one of the most experienced independent providers in this sector.

Background

Chiltern Support and Housing Ltd was founded in 2008 by a specialist in Mental Healthcare. Having worked in this area for many years he wanted to make a difference and change the ingrained and sometimes archaic attitudes to mental illness and learning disabilities. His passion and determination has grown this unique bespoke person centred support and care service.

Today

Our expertise in areas such as acquired brain injury, mental health and learning disabilities has finally been recognised and we are now one of the most experienced independent providers in this sector. We currently have eight fully supported houses dotted around Buckinghamshire, Harrow, Barnet, Enfield and Bexley. All our staff undergo a rigorous rolling training programme, ensuring they are always up to date and aware of the latest guidelines and procedures within our sector. Each member of our team is subject to a robust recruitment procedure ensuring we have the best people in our demanding yet highly rewarding sector. We operate with small teams, ensuring our service users can build a rapport with their support staff and vice versa. Consequently we are able to pick up on any small changes in behaviour and health which bigger staff teams may not be able to recognise. As a company we strive to deliver the best support going above and beyond our daily service requirements.
